Bhubaneswar 3/2/21025 ( Odisha Samachar/Rajat Mohapatra)-A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed by Mrs. Shalini Pandit, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, School & Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha &Ms. Neeru Khosla, Founder and Executive Director, CK-12 Foundation today on 3rd February, 2025 at the 2nd Floor, Conderence Hall of LokSevaBhavan, Bhubaneswar. The MoU has been signed in the august presence of ShriManoj Ahuja, IAS,ChiefSecretary,Odisha.
The objective of the MoU is to provide world class educational resources to the students, teachers, and schools of the State of Odisha. CK-12 Foundation is a not-for-profit education technology organization with a mission to provide universal access to great educational experiences with a focus on K-12. CK-12 Foundation and committed to providing free access to content and technology tools that empower students as well as teachers to enhance and experiment with different learning styles, resources, levels of competence, and circumstances.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing education by enhancing learning experiences, supporting teachers, and improving student outcomes. AI-powered tools provide personalized learning experiences, adapting content to each student’s pace and needs, ensuring better understanding and retention. For teachers, AI streamlines administrative tasks such as grading, attendance, and lesson planning, allowing them to focus more on student engagement and mentoring. AI-driven analytics help educators identify learning gaps and tailor interventions for struggling students. Additionally, AI chatbots and virtual tutors offer instant support, making learning more interactive and accessible. Chief Secretary, Odisha Shri Ahuja in his address emphasized that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming governance by enhancing efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery. AI-powered tools streamline administrative processes, automate routine tasks, and analyze large datasets to provide data-driven insights for policy formulation and implementation. In the training of officials, AI-based platforms offer personalized learning, virtual simulations, and real-time feedback, ensuring continuous skill development and improved decision-making capabilities. Additionally, AI enhances public service delivery by enabling smart chatbots, automated grievance redressal systems, and predictive analytics for better resource allocation. By leveraging AI, governments can provide faster, transparent, and more citizen-centric services, ultimately fostering better governance and improving the quality of life for people.
