Bhubaneswar, 07/12/2024( Odisha Samachar / Rajat Mohapatra )-Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Rural Development, Information and Public Relations, Food and Supplies Department today visited Boudh district and reviewed the construction work of Rural Development Division, Boudh. On this occasion, he made a detailed review of all the projects and construction work of the Rural Development Department under the said Rural Development Division.
During this visit, Principal Secretary Shri Singh reviewed the construction of fifteen bridges under Setu Bandhan Yojana. Along with this, twelve road construction works being implemented under the State Scheme were also reviewed. Along with this, he also reviewed seven road construction works being carried out under Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SACI).
Along with this, the preparation of DPR and other related aspects of other bridges and roads to be constructed in the year 2024-25 were reviewed. Out of these, six under Setu Bandhan Yojana, fourteen under MMSY- CUVDA and nine new projects under State Scheme were reviewed. Projects under PMGSY were also reviewed in detail.
Principal Secretary Shri Singh directed the officers present to execute all these works on priority basis with special focus on the quality of construction. He also directed them to pay special attention to the time frame of the construction work. In this review, Shri Sudhakar Naik, SE, Rural Development Division, Boudh, Shri Sagu Naik, SDO, Shri Vidyadhar Mohanty, SDO were present during the review.
