Indian Journalist Congress to be organised in Odisha; logo unveiled

Journalists’ Development Council of India’s announcement

Bhubaneswar, 14/12/2023 ( Odisha Samachar )- : The Journalist Development Council of India (JDCI) has taken a series of economic, social and welfare activities across the country.
Taking another step forward, the Council is all set to organise the Journalist Indian Congress in Bhubaneswar next year. More than 2000 journalists from different parts of Odisha, Sri Lanka, Dubai and other parts of the country will actively participate in the programme. The programme will witness seminars pertaining to overall development of journalists, their socio-economic welfare and their interests. Eminent journalists, leaders of journalists’ associations from across India will attend the programme.  On the occasion, a logo depicting the power of journalism was unveiled in the meeting.
Journalist Congress will be organised in different states and other parts of the country every year for promotion and popularisation of the logo. Besides, a mascot will be released in the first week of January for promotion of the Indian Journalist Congress.

The programme will be successful with cooperation from senior journalists and journalists’ organisations. This was informed by JDCI Chairman Kishore Dwibedi, President Gopalkrushna Mohapatra, Joint Chairman Bibhuti Bhushan Kar, Secretary General Sanat Mishra, Joint Secretary Pabitra Maharatha, Advisor Sriram Das, Prashant Patnaik, Pradosh Patnaik, Pitabas Mishra, Pradyumna Mohanty, Treasurer Rajen Choudhary, Finance Secretary Nimain Charan Das, Parthasarathi Jena, Sanatan Dalabehera and Lingaraj Sahoo.
