Bhubaneswar,27/9/2023 ( Odisha Samachar )- “Web Journalists Association of India (WJAI), the registered organization of web journalists from across the country, is organizing Web Media Summit 2023 on 28-29 October 2023 in Patna, the capital of Bihar, in which renowned journalists from across the country will participate. There will be a gathering of journalists and well-known persons from various fields. On this occasion, a collectible souvenir is being published on Bihar’s historical geographical cultural heritage, web journalism and common man’s questions.
It should be noted that the purpose behind the birth of the organization is to have a result-oriented struggle to incorporate the high ideals of journalism in the web media, to make it more responsible towards the society, to give legal status to web journalism and to protect the interests of web journalists.
Its self regulatory body Web Journalists Standards Authority (WJSA) is registered under Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India along with its member web portals which has its own.
