Bhubaneswar,26/6/2023 ( Odisha Samachar )- RITLEENA, an event management company organizes Raja Mahoutsav at the Community Hall of Baramunda Housing Board Colony Bhubaneswar. Sharing the objective of the celebration, Mrs. RosalinPattnaik, M.D. RITLEENAshared that “Raja Mahoutsav is the pride of Odisha through which freedom and dignity of the women is respected” The programme was inaugurated by Ms Swapa Pati (Actor and Model) Ms. ShradhanjaliSamantaray Former Indian women’s Footballer and Coach of Odisha Women police. Addressing in the programme, Mrs. Samantaray said, “Raja Mahoutsav exhibits womanhood, fertility and cultural heritage of Odisha”. It is to be noted that Raja Mahoutsav is exclusively celebrated in Odisha to celebrate the period when mother Earth undergoes rejuvenation and becomes fertile for agricultural activities. Raja is marked by various rituals and customs, including swinging on decorated swings, playing traditional games, applying special turmeric paste called “alata” on hands, wearing new clothes and taking verities o food amongst the girls and women of Odisha. 
On the occasion, RITLEENA organized various competitions amongst girl’s child and distributed prizes to the winners. The other guest who participated and addressed in the programme are; Mr. PareshPattnaik (Retired Senior officer of Odisha Gramya Bank, Novelist and short story writer), Mrs. LagnaMohanty (Lecturer in English, BijuPattnaik College, BBSR), MrBijayPatra (Senior Advocate), Mrs. Ranjukta Das (Retired O.A.S Officer) Mr. Pradeep Biswal (Retired IAS Officer and Member of RERA Odisha)Mrs Kalpalata Patra(Poet) and Mr Upendra Prasad Nayak (Ritered principal Homeopathic Medical Coage ,wrter and Editor).
At the end of the programe, RosalinPattnaik gave vote of thanks to all the guests and participants.
