International Day of Forest Celebration held in NBB, Bhalinuagaon

Jajpur ,21/3/2023 (Odisha Samachar / Suresh Kumar Kar): – District Level International day of Forest Celebrated today here in Nababharati Bidya Bhawan ,Bhalinuagan Bari in Jajpur district . This celebration was organised by Odisha Forest , Environment & Climate Change Department (OFCD) Cuttack and Jajpur division jointly with an objective to generate awareness among the school students , locals about the importance and significance of forests and plants and the scores of benefits which are gained from them.

Bari MLA Sunanda Das attained as the chief guest where Sri Manoranjan Swain , ACF Cuttack division , Tilottama Prusty ,Tahasildar Bari , Sri Gurucharan Sadangi ,BEO Bari, Sri Damodar Behera , a literary Person in the district were joined as guest of honours respectively .

Sri   Gopinath Kuanr   ,Sub Collector Jajpur joined as chief speaker , advised all students to plant a tree in an aim   of Each One Plant one .

Bari Tahasildar , Bari MLA Smt. Sunanda Das also requested  all participants and advised all students to plant and keep the environment free from dangers.

Besides them ACF Sri Swain , Dr. Girish Chandra Mishra , Headmaster NBB , Sri Nirmal Jena , Headmaster Panchayat High School , Dr. Rajkishore Panda ,noted environmentalist , Sri Sitakanta Panda , Headmaster BC Academy along with many intellectual Persons in the area joined and spoked their valuable opinions regarding environment protection , Plantation benefits . In this regard a debate on Plantation drive among the students was held , the toppest participants have been awarded by the Department .

Towards their solidarity jobs in Plantation drives Teachers , Citizens also felicitated by the department . Ranger Jyoti Ranjan Mohapatra , Forester Nilima Priyadarshini Nayak , Anupama Sahoo & Duryodhan Bej of Jajpur forest division , Staff of NBB were coordinated the Programme .
