Jajpur ,9/2/2023(Odisha Samachar/Suresh Kumar Kar):- The Jajpur Zilla Mahostav 2023 inagurated by Odisha’s Chief Minster Sri Naveen Pattnaik on this Wednesday evening through video conferencing.
Science and Technology Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, Revenue Minister Pramila Mallik, Rural Development Minister Pritiranjan Ghadai, Badachana MLA Amar Prasad Satpathy , Dharmasala MLA Pranab Balbantaray, Korei MLS Ashok Kumar Bal ,Jajpur MLA Sri Pranab Prakash Das ,Bari MLA Sunanda Das among others attended the event.
Jajpur will become number one district in Odisha, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Jajpur is the confluence of different religions, philosophies and spiritualism. Culture of Jajpur reflects various philosophies. Jajpur was once the capital of Odisha. It was the centre of religion, literature and culture. Like Hinduism, Buddhism also developed here,” Patnaik.
MLA Pranab Prakash Das said Chief Minister has a special blessings and love for Jajpur. Today, Jajpur is known for its development.
Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, apart from establishment of Kalinga Nagar Steel Complex and Medical College in Jajpur has seen rapid development in the field of communication. Sri Das said .
In this regard Jajati ,a book on Jajpur was also unveiled by the guests .
Sri Chakravarty SinghRathode ,District Magistrate& Collector gave his welcome address .This Mahotsav 2023 will continue till February 13 ,Sri Rathode said .
In the inaugural night Sunidhi Chahwan ,Popular Play back Singer and troop were performed different melodious songs .
