State Bank Of India With Way2 ISR foundation Makes OTDC Campus Green

Despite Odisha is having all the natural beauties, long coastlines, beaches, biodiversity, ancient temples, rich cultures, and sanctuaries, the number of tourists arrival to the state of Odisha is on a decreasing trend. Way2 Individual Social Responsibility Foundation is joining hands with India’s largest Public sector bank State Bank of India to make our monuments, biodiversity hot spots, school, college and university to go Green by planting more and more trees. OTDC Guest House, Aranya Nivas, Bhitarkanika does not have a single tree in the campus to attract the tourists. By finding the gap SBI branch Bhitarkanika is coming forward to support the green initiative in association with ISR Foundation. More than 300 different varieties of fruits, flower, medicinal, shading trees were planted at OTDC Guest House, Bhitarkanika as well as as Primary Health Care Center connecting the inmates at the guest house, SBI staffs, Hospital Staffs and Foundation members. Peoples come and go, to leave a ever lasting eco footprint, Way2 ISR Foundation Founder Dharmendra Kar along with Sachetan Nagarik Manch conveyor Saroj Kumar Behera approached the OTDC Guests to leave a Green Signature at the guest house Camus. Each guest took it a positive way and planted one one tree at the guest house campus. SBI Bhitarkanika Branch Manager Mr Prabir Kumar Patra choose the locations with an objective to grow more trees in the campus and give a healthy environment to our guests who are stationed at the OTDC guest house. All of the SBI staffs of Bhitarkanika branch were coming forward and planted one one trees at the guest house. More than 40 guests who stayed at the guest house left a green signature at the campus by planting a tree inside the guest house campus.
