Kendrapada, 17/11/2022 (Odisha Samachar)- Mr. Subas Kumar Mantry , a resident of Badbetra Grampanchayat Varigol village under Garadpur block of Kendrapada district, was suffering from kidney disease, so he sought some financial help for his treatment.
Panchayat Sarpanch Ms. Sanjukta Mahapatra and her representative Mr. Kishore Mahapatra and Ward Members of every Ward, and some young social workers of the Panchayat went from house to house in Badbetra Gram Panchayat and begged for some money for treatment of Subas. That is today Sarpanch Sanjukta Mahapatra, Garadpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Mr. Abhay Kumar Maharaj and Garadpur Block former chairman Basudeb Behera, ward members and some dignitaries collected Rs 75 Thousand . 
The amount of 75 Thousand was given to his family in the presence of Mr. Dharmaranjan Panda,in shape of Bankers cheque of Indian Bank . Apart from this, Bijan Roy, a prominent poet and social worker of that village, also presented a check of Rs.5000.
