Brahmagiri, 04/09/2022 (Odisha Samachar) – An accident took place in Chilika this evening. 11 out of 13 people who were missing due to the sinking of the boat in Chilika have been rescued while the dead bodies of 2 have been recovered. According to information, 13 people from Krishnaprasad Block Gambhari village went to Kalizai Kuda to have a picnic party. While returning from the party, the boat sank due to inbalance of a sudden rain storm. 10 people were rescued by fishermen. Another person was later rescued. Brahmagiri fire department and local people were engaged in rescue work at the spot. 2 deceased are from Puri.
