TIMBER ALONG WITH VEHICLE WORTH RS.4.1 LAKH SEIZED.

Cuttack,30/8/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )-Today i.e. on 30.08.2022, on receipt of reliable information regarding transportation of illegal timber in a Mahindra Pickup vehicle bearing registration number OD15-U-6585 near village Jamtal, PS-Jujumura, Dist-Sambalpur, a joint forest raid was conducted by the Forest Wing of Odisha Vigilance and the said vehicle laden with timber was seized. During raid, 88.91 Cft. timber along with vehicle worth Rs.4,10,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Ten Thousand) was seized. In this connection, one forest case vide UDC No.9 of 2022-23 was registered in Jujumura Range under Sambalpur Forest Division, Dist-Sambalpur. Investigation is continuing.
