CASE REGISTERED AGAINST MARKET SIRCAR, REGULATED MARKET COMMITTEE (RMC), DIST-JAJPUR FOR POSSESSING DISPROPORTIONATE ASSETS (DA) WORTH RS.1,08,41,782/- (602% OF HIS KNOWN SOURCE OF INCOME.

Cuttack, 29/4/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )- Today i.e. on 29.04.2022, Odisha Vigilance has registered vide Cuttack Vigilance P.S. Case No.29 dt.29.04.2022 against Sri Gayadhar Sahoo, Market Sircar, Regulated Market Committee (RMC), Dist-Jajpur and his spouse U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(b)/12 PC Act, 1988 as amended by PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 for possession of disproportionate assets worth Rs.1,08,41,782/-, which he could not account for satisfactorily.

After thorough search, inventory and further enquiry, the income, expenditure and assets of Sri Gayadhar Sahoo, Market Sircar, Regulated Market Committee (RMC), Dist-Jajpur were calculated and he was found in possession of disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs.1,08,41,782/- (Rupees One Crore Eight Lakh Forty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-two) which constituted 602% of his known sources of income.

Investigation of the case is in progress.
