Cuttack,15/2/2022( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income, simultaneous house searches have been launched on the properties of Sri Trinath Mishra, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. S.P), Communication, Tulasipur, Cuttack today i.e. on 15.02.2022 at 11 places in Cuttack, Khordha, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur and Nabarangpur district i.e;
1) Residential flat No.2/25, Manorama Estate, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.
2) House at native village Dabugaon, Nabarangpur.
3) House of relative at Khaira, PS-Badachana, Dist-Jajpur.
4) Farm house namely Shantilata Farm House at Teligarh, Khaira, Dist-Jajpur.
5) Shantilata Care and Nursing Home along with Medicine shop at Dhanamandal, Chandikhol Bazar, Dist-Jajpur.
6) Shantilata Transport (first) near Shantilata Care, Chandikhol, Dist-Jajpur.
7) Shantilata Transport (second) at Dhanamandal, Chandikhol, Dist-Jajpur.
8) House of driver of Sri Trinath Mishra at village Daleighai, PS-Biridi, Dist-Jagatsinghpur.
9) Drug Unit of his unmarried sons at Mahanadi Vihar, Cuttack.
10) Govt. quarter at Madhupatna PS campus, Cuttack.
11) Office room at office of S.P. Signal, Tulasipur, Cuttack.
11 teams of Odisha Vigilance led by 3 Addl. Ss.P, 10 DSsP, 13 Inspectors and other staff conducted the search on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed;
1) One 3 BHK flat at Marorama Estate, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar. Preliminary valuation is Rs.80 lakhs. However, Technical Wing of Odisha, Vigilance will carry out detailed assessment of its value, which may increase further.
2) Double storeyed building at Dabugaon, Dist-Nabarangpur.
3) One farm house at Badachana, Jajpur worth over Rs.86.32 lakh as per preliminary estimate.
4) 4 number of plots at Bhubaneswar and Jajpur. Undervaluation of the plots during registration is suspected. A thorough probe has been initiated in this regard.
5) Bank deposits over Rs.43.32 lakh.
6) Insurance deposits over Rs.44.04 lakh.
7) Gold ornaments worth over Rs.16.85 lakh.
8) Cash Rs 5,27,710/-.
9) Costly vehicles. Details as under;
- i) BMW X7 car bearing Regd. No. OD05-AV-0005 (worth Rs.1.20 crore). Picture given below;
- ii) Hyundai Creta car bearing Regd. No. OD05-X-0005 (worth Rs.17 lakh)
iii) Maruti Baleno car bearing Regd. No. OD05-R-9005 (worth Rs.13 lakh)
- iv) Triumph Rocket 3 R bearing Regd No. OD05-AZ-0005 (worth Rs.20 lakh). Picture given below;
- v) GTR 250 Hyosung Bike bearing Regd. No. OD05-M-0005 (worth Rs.5.3 lakh). Picture given below;
- vi) Royal Enfield Classic 500 ABS bearing Regd. No. OD05-AX-0005 (worth Rs.2.50 lakh).
vii) Yamaha motor cycle bearing Regd. No. OD02-BV-0005 (worth Rs.2 lakh).
viii) Swish scooter bearing Regd. No. OD05-C-0005 (worth Rs.70 thousand).
- ix) E-scooter bearing Regd. No. OD04-S-0505 (worth Rs.64,905/-).
- x) Household articles worth Rs.55 lakh and other movable and immovable properties.
10) Sri Trinath Mishra is suspected to have invested ill-gotten money in business in name of his family members. The following have been unearthed and are being probed;
- i) Shantilata Care (Nursing Home) at Chandikhol, Dist-Jajpur. Cost of triple storeyed building named as Shantilata Care Nursing Home worth over 1.76 Crore. (Picture given below)
- ii) Shanti Drug House;
Both are licensed in the name of spouse of Sri Trinath Mishra. Valuation of high end medical instruments at Shantilata Care are being done with the help of technical and medical experts. Preliminary assessment of Medical instruments, assets and drugs seized during search of Shantilata Care is worth Rs.77 lakh.
Further, Pharmaceutical Unit (M/s Taurus Pharmex) at Mahanadi Vihar, Cuttack in the name of Sri Tarun Mishra, unmarried son of Sri Trinath Mishra has been unearthed. Medicine stock value of (M/s Taurus Pharmex) is worth over Rs.14.10 lakh as per preliminary estimate.
Searches are continuing at all the above places. Finance and Technical Wing of Odisha Vigilance are doing assessments.
It is suspected that Sri Mishra has created benami assets in name of his relatives which is under verification. Unearthing of more assets is likely and overall valuation is likely to increase.
