                  Cuttack,20/12/20212 ( Odisha Samachar )- On 19.12.2021, a team of Odisha Vigilance had intercepted Sri Tara Charan Panda, Junior Accountant, Office of CSO, Nuapada, Dist-Nuapada  at Nuapada on Nuapada-Bhawanipatna NH-353. During interception, suspected ill-gotten cash of Rs.2,16,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Sixteen Thousand) was recovered from Sri Panda, which he could not account for satisfactorily.

In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case No.28 dated 19.12.2021 U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(b) of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against Sri Tara Charan Panda, Junior Accountant, Office of CSO, Nuapada, Dist-Nuapada. Today i.e. on 20.12.2021 Sri Panda has been arrested and is being forwarded to the Court of Spl. Judge Vigilance, Bhawanipatna.

The investigation of the case is in progress.
