RI ARRESTED IN KANDHAMAL ACCEPTING RS 3,000/- BRIBE.
Cuttack,27/7/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income, simultaneous house searches have been launched on the properties of Shri Dillip Kumar Deb, Head Clerk, office of Block Education Officer (BEO), Dhankauda, Dist-Sambalpur at 2 places in Sambalpur today i.e. on 27.07.2021 by the team of Sambalpur Vigilance Division comprising 3 DSsP, 3 Inspectors and other staff.
1 triple storeyed building at Sakhipada, Sambalpur, 1 plot in Sambalpur town, 1 four wheeler, 1 two wheeler and other movable and immovable properties, all totalling to over Rs 85 lakh have been unearthed during the house search till now. Further searches are continuing.
In one more Vigilance Operation today, Shri Sunil Kumar Digal, the Revenue Inspector of Gudari RI Circle under Khajuripada Tahasil, Dist-Kandhamal was nabbed by Vigilance team of Berhampur Division while demanding and accepting bribe amount of Rs 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) from the complainant in order to furnish physical verification report of his land. In this connection, Berhampur Vigilance PS Case No.12 dated 26.7.2021 U/s 7 PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered and investigation is in progress. Shri Sunil Kumar Digal, RI has been arrested in the case. House searches are being conducted at his office room and rented residence at College Square, Phulbani.
