Cuttack,9/7/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Ganapati Purohit, Ex-Superintendent (Retired), Odisha State Warehouse Corporation, Titilagarh, Dist. Bolangir and his wife Smt. Sabita Kumari Dash, Asst. Teacher, Govt. Primary School, Khaisbahali, Dist. Bolangir, their rented residential building at Rajendrapada, Bolangir Town, two numbers of residential buildings at Palace Line, Bolangir and office room of Smt. Sabita Kumari Dash, Asst. Teacher at Government Primary School, Khaisbahali, Dist. Bolangir were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 8.7.2021 by the officers of Sambalpur Vigilance, Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir.
In the course of search and inventory, Sri Ganapati Purohit, Ex-Superintendent (Retired) and his wife Smt. Sabita Kumari Dash, Asst. Teacher have been found in possession of assets worth Rs.3,36,24,650/- (Rupees Three Crore Thirty-six Lakhs Twenty-four Thousand Six Hundred Fifty) including two numbers of triple-storeyed buildings at Palace Line, Bolangir worth more than 1.8 Crores, one plot at mouza Salepali, Dist. Bolangir, one Honda City Car, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different Banks over 90 lakhs, investment in Insurance policies of nearly 6 Lakhs, gold ornaments, cash and household articles.
