AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Program in Gandhi Institute For Technology on “APPLICATION OF IOT IN AGRICULTURE”

Bhubaneswar, 6/7/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )–AICTE sponsored ATAL FDP for 5 day on “Application of IOT in Agriculture” at GIFT. The FDP was  inaugurated by Chairman, AICTE Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudheand Vice Chancellor,OUAT Dr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal.

The program is from 6th to 10th July 2021. In this program, 14 experts participating from all over the country will explain about the details of application of IOT for agriculture and its different sectors. There will be 3 sessions every day, each session of 2 hours durations. These sessions will be very much useful for the faculty members of technical colleges, industry personnel and scientists from various research organizations.

On the basis of the outcome of the deliberation the research scholars, faculties involved in applied research programs, industry personnel and students can develop many more gadgets for the benefit of farmers of the state as well as the country.

More than 200 participants from technical colleges and universities, research organizations and industry from all parts of the country will interact to utilize the benefits of IOTs to make our agriculture more efficient, vibrant, profitable and beneficial to farmers and consumers.

The Vice Chairman Dr. Patitapaban Panda sent his greetings to Convener Dr. Satyananda Swain, the coordinator Dr. Sujit Kumar Panda and participants for this very useful program for agriculture industry.

Principal Dr.Ch.V.S. Parameswar Rao envisaged this to be a wonderful course and wishes the participants for active involvement to enhance their knowledge, skill and ability regarding the use of latest technology for modernization of Indian agriculture.

Dean Dr S N Patnaik expressed it to be an excellent and timely program for GIFT college with respect to our B. Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) course. We are the only engineering college under BPUT offering Agricultural Engineering degree.
