HOUSE SEARCH OF SENIOR CLERK, O/O CHIEF CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS, KENDULEAF, CUTTACK.

Cuttack,10/04/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Dillip Kumar Jena, Senior Clerk, office of Chief Conservator of Forests, Kenduleaf, Cuttack, his 1) residential Government quarter at Forest Training School, Bhubaneswar, 2) four-storey building at Jagamara, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar 3) house at native village Ratanpur, PS-Gondia, Dist. Dhenkanal, and 4) office chamber at Chief Conservator of Forests, Kenduleaf, Cuttack were searched simultaneously Friday i.e. on 9.4.2021 by the officers of Bhubaneswar Vigilance Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

In course of search and inventory, Sri Dillip Kumar Jena, Senior Clerk has been found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,56,40,157/- (Rupees One Crore Fifty-six Lakhs Forty Thousand One Hundred Fifty-seven) including one four-storey building, three numbers of plots, two numbers of four wheelers, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different Banks, gold ornaments, cash and household articles.

 During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Jena and his family members.

1. One four-storey building at Jagamara, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar Rs.      1,08,07,839/-
2. Share in paternal house at Ratanpur, Dist. Dhenkanal Rs.         11,38,345/-
3. Three numbers of plots at Bhubaneswar and Gondia, Dhenkanal Rs.         10,52,600/-
4. Two numbers of four wheelers (Scorpio & Maruti Alto) Rs.         19,83,697/-
5. Two numbers of two wheelers (Bajaj Pulsar & Hero Passion Plus) Rs.           1,17,676/-
6. Deposits in different Banks Rs.             50,000/-
  7. Gold ornaments Rs.              15,000/-
  8. Cash Rs.               8,450/-
  9. Household articles Rs.          4,66,550/-
Total Rs.  1,56,40,157/-

Thus, the total assets unearthed so far from the possession of Sri Dillip Kumar Jena, Senior Clerk and his family members have been calculated as Rs.1,56,40,157/-(Rupees One Crore Fifty-six Lakhs Forty Thousand One Hundred Fifty-seven).

The enquiry is in progress.
