Cuttack,09/03/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Parsuram Naik, Assistant Engineer, Block office, Bargaon, Dist. Sundargarh, his 1) residential triple-storey building at Rangadhipa, Sundargarh town, 2) house at native village Lephripada, Dist. Sundargarh, and 3) office room at Block office, Bargaon, Sundargarh were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 9.3.2021 by the officers of Rourkela Vigilance Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sundargarh.
In course of search and inventory, Sri Parsuram Naik, Assistant Engineer has been found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,35,64,951/- (Rupees One Crore Thirty-five Lakhs Sixty-four Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-one) including one triple-storey building, two numbers of plots, one four wheeler, two numbers of two wheelers, investment in Insurance policies, deposits in different Banks and Post offices, gold and silver ornaments, cash and household articles.
During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Naik and his family members.

| 7. | Gold and silver ornaments. | Rs | 13,65,491/- |
| 8. | Cash. | Rs. | 26,300/- |
| 9. | Household articles. | Rs. | 9,10,051/- |
| Total | Rs. | 1,35,64,951/- |
Thus, the total assets unearthed so far from the possession of Sri Parsuram Naik, Assistant Engineer and his family members have been calculated as Rs.1,35,64,951/- (Rupees One Crore Thirty-five Lakhs Sixty-four Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-one).
