  HOUSE SEARCH OF DEPUTY RANGER, OFFICE OF DFO, BOLANGIR.

cuttack, 11/02/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )-On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Keshaba Kishor Nayak, Deputy Ranger, office of D.F.O., Bolangir, his (1) residential triple-storey building at Sagarapada, Dist. Bolangir, (2) double-storey building at Gupteswar Nagar, Dist. Bolangir, (3) residential building at Indira Nagar, Dist. Bolangir, (4) house at native village Ghudaghatpada, Sonepur town, and (5) office rooms at Bolangir were searched simultaneously today i.e. on 11.2.2021 by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir.

In course of search and inventory, Sri Keshaba Kishor Nayak, Deputy Ranger has been found in possession of assets worth Rs.2,02,24,386/- (Rupees Two Crore Two Lakhs Twenty-four Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-six) including one triple-storey building, one double-storey building, one single- storey building, sixteen numbers of plots, one four wheeler, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different Banks, investment in Insurance policies, gold ornaments, cash and household articles.

 During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Nayak and his family members.

1. One triple-storey building at Sagarapada, Bolangir town Rs.        39,35,816/-
2. One double-storey building at Gupteswar, Bolangir town Rs.        60,42,581/-
3. One single-storey building at Indira Nagar, Bolangir town Rs.        11,02,532/-
4. Sixteen numbers of plots at Bolangir town and Sonepur town Rs.         28,13,000/-
5. One four wheeler (Hyundai Aura) Rs.          8,00,000/-
6. Two numbers of two wheelers (Honda Activa & Hero Honda Pleasure) Rs.             90,952/-
7. Deposit in different Banks and Post offices Rs.        29,63,888/-
8. Investment in Insurance policies Rs.         16,03,991/-
  9. Gold ornaments Rs          2,29,570/-
10. Cash Rs.             15,790/-
11. Household articles Rs.          6,26,266/-
  Total Rs.  2,02,24,386/-

Thus, the total assets unearthed so far from the possession of Sri Keshaba Kishor Nayak, Deputy Ranger and his family members have been calculated as  Rs.2,02,24,386/-(Rupees Two Crore Two Lakhs Twenty-four Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-six).

                   The enquiry is in progress.
