Cuttack, 28/01/2021 ( Odisha Samachar )- On getting reliable information regarding running of illegal saw mill at Cheruapada, PS-Khetrajpur, Dist-Sambalpur, wednesday i.e. on 27.1.2021, a joint forest raid was conducted by the Forest Wing of Sambalpur Vigilance Division with the assistance of local forest staff of Sambalpur Forest Division. During the raid, saw mill machineries and accessories along with 15 Cft. timber worth Rs.90,000/- (Rupees Ninety Thousand)  have been detected and seized. In this connection, one forest case vide UD Case No-14 of 2020-21 have been registered under Town Range, Sambalpur Forest Division for further legal action.
