Cuttack,6/1/2021 ( Odisha Samachar / Dipti Ranjan Kanungo )- Today i.e. on 6.1.2021, Sri Sudeep Kesh, District Programme Manager, Office of the Chief District Medical & Public Health officer, Malkangiri has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Koraput Division for demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) from complainant Sri Nabaghana Khillo, Junior Engineer of the said office in order to pass the bills in respect of execution of construction works.
Accordingly, a trap was laid on 6.1.2021. Accused Sri Sudeep Kesh, District Programme Manager was caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance, Koraput Division in his office room while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) from complainant Sri Khillo. The bribe money was recovered and seized in presence of witnesses. His residential Government quarter at Malkangiri is being searched. Sri Kesh, District Programme Manager has been arrested and will be forwarded to the Court.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance P.S. case No.2 dt.5.1.2021 U/s 7 PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered and is under investigation.
