Cuttack,24/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Dipti Ranjan Kanungo )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Udhab Padhi, Deputy Executive Engineer, R & B Sub-Division, Gunupur under R & B Division No.II, Rayagada, his 1) triple-storied building at Kamapalli, Berhampur, 2) residential government quarter at Gunupur, Dist. Rayagada, 3) stone crusher factory at Durgamadhabpur, Dharakote Block, Dist. Ganjam, and 4) office chamber at R & B Sub-Division, Gunupur, Rayagada were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 24.12.2020 by the officers of Vigilance, Berhampur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.
In course of search and inventory, Sri Udhab Padhi, Deputy Executive Engineer was found in possession of assets worth Rs.1,83,64,992/- (Rupees One Crore Eighty-three Lakhs Sixty-four Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-two) including one triple-storied building, twenty-seven numbers of plots, one stone crusher factory, deposits in different banks & post offices, one four wheeler, one motor cycle, gold ornaments, cash of over Rs.2.95 Lakhs and household articles.
During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Padhi and his family members.

Thus, the total assets of Sri Udhab Padhi, Deputy Executive Engineer, and his family members have been calculated as Rs.1,83,64,992/- (Rupees One Crore Eighty-three Lakhs Sixty-four Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-two).
