Cuttack,9/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar /  Dipti Ranjan Kanungo )- On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Purandar Sahu, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO), Dahita GP under Padampur Block, Dist. Bargarh, his double-storied residential building at Padampur, Dist. Bargarh and his office room at Dahita GP, Padampur Block, Dist. Bargarh were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 9.12.2020 by the officers of Vigilance, Sambalpur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.

In course of search and inventory, Sri Purandar Sahu, PEO was found in possession of assets worth Rs.97,35,002/- (Rupees Ninety-seven Lakhs Thirty-five Thousand Two) including two numbers of double-storied buildings, four numbers of plots, two numbers of two wheelers, deposits in different banks and post offices, investment in various insurance policies, gold and silver ornaments, cash and household articles.

 During house search, the following movable and immovable assets have been so far unearthed from the possession of Sri Sahu and his family members.

Thus, the total assets of Sri Purandar Sahu, PEO, Dahita GP under Padampur Block, Dist. Bargarh and his family members have been calculated as Rs.97,35,002/- (Rupees Ninety-seven Lakhs Thirty-five Thousand Two).
