Bhubaneswar, 09/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty): Five more COVID deaths and 386 new positive cases have been registered in Odisha in last 24 hours.
The deceased have been identified as a 74-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, a 49-year-old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension, a 51-year-old female of Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, a 52-year-old female of Puri district and a 61-year-old female of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease Stage-4 on MHD.
The COVID death toll of the state now stands at 1789.
The positive cases are from Angul: 29, Balasore: 20, Bargarh: 20, Bhadrak: 3, Balangir: 22, Boudh: 4, Cuttack: 22, Deogarh: 2, Dhenkanal: 2, Gajapati: 2, Ganjam: 4, Jagatsinghpur: 7, Jajpur: 3, Jharsuguda: 7, Kalahandi: 13, Kandhamal: 2, Kendrapada: 12, Keonjhar: 7, Khurda: 50, Malkangiri: 5, Mayurbhanj: 31, Nayagarh: 3, Nuapada: 12, Puri: 25, Rayagada: 2, Sambalpur: 17, Sonepur: 2, Sundargarh: 47 and State Pool: 11.
The total number of positive cases surged to 322299.
