Odisha reports seven more COVID-19 deaths, 368 positive cases

Bhubaneswar, 7/12/2020 ( Odisha Samachar / Abhishek Mohanty )-Odisha reported seven more COVID-19 deaths and 368 fresh positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The COVID death toll of the state now stands at 1,778.

The deceased have been identified as a 56-year-old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension, a 74-year-old male of Cuttack district, a 64-year-old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease & Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, a 59-year-old male of Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension, a 50-year-old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Hypertension and a 63-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.

The positive cases are from Angul: 30, Balasore: 16, Bargarh: 19, Bhadrak: 19, Balangir: 18, Cuttack: 26, Deogarh: 1, Dhenkanal: 4, Ganjam: 6, Jagatsinghpur: 8, Jajpur: 6, Jharsuguda: 6, Kalahandi: 6, Kandhamal: 2, Kendrapada: 5, Keonjhar: 22, Khurda: 49, Koraput: 4, Malkangiri: 1, Mayurbhanj: 24, Nayagarh: 5, Nuapada: 5, Puri: 18, Rayagada: 2, Sambalpur: 11, Sundargarh: 45 and State Pool: 10.

The total number of positive cases mounted to 3,21,564.
