AnuGarg chairs the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 148<sup>th<\/sup> Meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bhubaneswar, 21 \/07\/2026( Odisha Samachar\/Rajat Mohapatra ): People&#8217;s The Government of Odisha, under the leadership of Hon&#8217;ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, continues to strengthen the State&#8217;s industrial growth through focused policy support and investor facilitation. In another significant step towards achieving the vision of SamruddhaOdisha 2036, the 148th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting, chaired by the Chief Secretary, Smt. Anu Garg, IAS, has approved 23 major industrial projects with a total investment of \u20b94,573.87 crore, having the potential to generate 22,873 employment opportunities across the State.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-57450 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/SWC-2-300x121.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"121\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/SWC-2-300x121.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/SWC-2.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The approved projects represent a diverse mix of sectors including Information Technology &amp; ITES, Green Energy Equipment, Battery &amp; Energy Storage, Chemicals, Textile &amp; Apparel, Food Processing, Steel Downstream, Pharmaceuticals &amp; Medical Devices, Infrastructure, Healthcare and Tourism, reflecting Odisha&#8217;s continued efforts to promote balanced industrial development and attract investments in both traditional and emerging sectors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The projects will be established across 11 districts Angul, Balangir, Cuttack, Ganjam, Jajpur, Kendujhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Puri and Sundargarh. further expanding industrial activities across different regions of the State and creating employment opportunities at the local level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Key approved projects:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Information Technology &amp; ITES sector, HCL Technologies Limited will establish a Global Development Centre in Khordha with an investment of \u20b9730 crore, generating 6,000 employment opportunities. The project is expected to further strengthen Odisha&#8217;s growing IT ecosystem and position the State as an emerging destination for technology-based investments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Green Energy and Energy Storage sector, ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited will establish an alkaline electrolyzer manufacturing unit with a production capacity of up to 3 GW per annum, to be developed in two phases, in Ganjam with an investment of \u20b9778 crore, creating 480 jobs. GGB Battery India Private Limited will establish a zinc anode battery manufacturing unit in Cuttack with an investment of \u20b9202.50 crore, generating 254 employment opportunities. EnvirocareInfrasolution Private Limited will also establish an additional 100 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic captive power plant in Angul with an investment of \u20b9351 crore, generating 60 jobs, further strengthening Odisha&#8217;s renewable energy ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Textile and Apparel sector has received major investment commitments with four projects approved during the meeting. SAPL Industries Private Limited will establish a ready-made garment manufacturing unit in Puri with an investment of \u20b9254 crore, generating 4,570 jobs. SPL Industries Limited will set up another ready-made garment manufacturing unit in Puri with an investment of \u20b950 crore, creating 3,000 employment opportunities. Richa Global Exports Private Limited will establish a readymade garment manufacturing unit in Puri with an investment of \u20b984.45 crore, generating 2,500 jobs, while AsthaCotspin Private Limited will establish a textile manufacturing unit in Balangir with an investment of \u20b9124.50 crore, creating 325 employment opportunities. Transpek Industry Limited will establish a Specialty Chemicals Manufacturing Facility in Ganjam with an investment of \u20b9343 crore, creating 424 employment opportunities. TirupatiMicrotech Private Limited will establish an Integrated Chemicals Complex and Rare Earth Mineral Processing Facility in Jajpur with an investment of \u20b970 crore, generating 84 jobs, while Krebs International Limited will establish a Chromium Chemicals Manufacturing Facility in Mayurbhanj with an investment of \u20b968.01 crore, creating 300 employment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Food Processing sector, Growing Tree Oil &amp; Refinery Private Limited will also establish a Dairy Products Manufacturing Unit in Cuttack with an investment of \u20b980 crore, generating 435 jobs, further strengthening value addition in the Agro-processing sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Steel Downstream sector, Shri Mahavir Ferro Alloys Private Limited will establish a manufacturing unit for galvanised coated wires and zinc-aluminium coated wires in Sundargarh with an investment of \u20b9105 crore, creating 250 employment opportunities. RAG Industries Private Limited will establish a manufacturing unit for steel coil slitting, cut-to-length sheets, GI false ceiling sections and ERW steel pipes &amp; tubes in Khordha with an investment of \u20b952 crore, generating 210 jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices sector, EFYIONDX Private Limited will establish a manufacturing facility for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, bulk drugs and medical equipment in Khordha with an investment of \u20b960 crore, creating 555 employment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Infrastructure and logistics projects also received approval during the meeting. Tata Steel Limited will establish a 5 MTPA Railway Siding in Keonjhar with an investment of \u20b9165.30 crore, generating 250 jobs. LingarajTranslogistics Private Limited will establish a Logistics Park and Warehousing Facility in Sundargarh with an investment of \u20b9150 crore, creating 250 employment opportunities. Sri Jaibalajee Agro Products Private Limited will establish an Integrated Logistics Park with a 5 MW rooftop solar power plant in Dhenkanal with an investment of \u20b9120 crore, generating 235 jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Healthcare sector, DION Riverside Township Private Limited will establish a 300-bed multi-speciality hospital in Cuttack with an investment of \u20b9275.89 crore, generating 941 employment opportunities, strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Tourism and Hospitality sector, Biswa &amp; Jit Multi Complex Private Limited will establish a 5-star hotel in Cuttack with an investment of \u20b9105.22 crore, creating 150 jobs. JAS Towers LLP will establish a 5-star hotel in Sambalpur with an investment of \u20b985 crore, generating 325 employment opportunities, while Srikrishna Estates and Construction Private Limited will establish the &#8220;Krishna Lake View Resort&#8221;, a 5-star luxury resort, in Khordha with an investment of \u20b970 crore, creating 125 jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These 23 projects, with a combined investment of \u20b94,573.87 crore and employment potential of 22,873, reaffirm Odisha&#8217;s growing attractiveness as an investment destination. The projects cover a wide range of sectors, from information technology and advanced manufacturing to textiles, chemicals, healthcare, tourism and infrastructure, reflecting the State&#8217;s balanced approach towards industrial development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Single Window Clearance System continues to facilitate investment by ensuring time-bound approvals and coordinated clearances, enabling industries to implement their projects efficiently.
