The delegation is in the city for the Black Swan summit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-56351 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/V-1-300x201.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/V-1-300x201.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/V-1-110x75.jpeg 110w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/V-1.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Welcoming the guests to Odisha, the Chief Minister highlighted the initiatives taken by the State government in last two years for complete transformation of Odisha. The massive efforts made to build infrastructure and empower people, especially the farmers and women are paying rich dividends, the CM underscored. The CM sought the support of visiting business leaders in empowering Odisha\u2019s youth and women through successful entrepreneurship models.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Interacting with the CM, Mr Menon informed that the first batch of 195 Odisha students, who were imparted skilling in Fintech, have completed their training, and they are now taking up jobs in different corporate houses.\u00a0 Several of them have received jobs in Singapore and other foreign countries, he said. He further said that the GFTN partnership with Odisha will be taken to next level. They will help with boot camps to promote entrepreneurship among the skilled youth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-56352 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/V-2-300x181.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"181\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/V-2-300x181.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/V-2.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0 Mr Schlein and Mr Feagin said that they had visited some the SHGs and observed their business model. The women are doing very good job, they added. They said that they can support these SHG women to go for SMEs. They will be supported at every step including technology and marketing support with e-Commerce. The SHG women in Odisha can go for exporting their products, he added. Their experiment in other countries has succeeded, they claimed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chief Minister thanked Mr Menon, Mr Schlein and Mr Feagin for their keen interest in Odisha and readiness to strengthen the partnership.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It may be mentioned here that Mr Ravi Menon is the Chairman of the Board of Directors, GFTN.
