Pravati Parida. She was speaking as the Chief Guest at an orientation programme on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 \u2014 commonly known as the POSH Act \u2014 organized today at the Lok Seva Bhavan Convention Centre.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-51606 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Posa-5-300x223.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Posa-5-300x223.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Posa-5.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing over 600 employees of Lok Seva Bhavan, Smt. Parida urged all employes to raise their voices against sexual harassment and to foster a culture of respect and equality. \u201cBoth men and women can be victims of sexual harassment. Therefore, it is crucial for everyone to be aware of the provisions of the POSH Act and remain vigilant,\u201d she emphasized. Highlighting that women and men are the two wheels of society, she stressed the need for harmony and mutual respect between all genders to build a safe workplace and a progressive society. Parida further stated that appropriate punishment will be ensured for the guilty following proper investigation, and at the same time, individuals found making false allegations will also face consequences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Distinguished lawyer Smt. Manasi Padhi delivered a detailed presentation on the POSH Act during two dedicated sessions, spreading awareness among the participants.
