Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, H&amp;UD Department, has instructed ULBs to pre-position dewatering pumps in waterlogging-prone areas and ensure that control rooms remain operational round the clock. She also emphasized the importance of mobilising rapid response teams to handle any emergency situation that may arise due to excessive rainfall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAll Urban Local Bodies must stay vigilant. Our focus should be on prompt action and citizen safety. Please keep the Department informed\u00a0 has reiterated its commitment to working closely with ULBs to ensure effective management of urban areas during adverse weather conditions.
