The two-day national-level event brought together policymakers, legal experts, district officials, and development partners for advancement of child protection reforms and strengthening adoption as a core pillar of family-based care.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-50315 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/A-1-2-300x135.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"135\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/A-1-2-300x135.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/A-1-2.jpeg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conclave was inaugurated by Smt. Pravati Parida, Hon\u2019ble Deputy Chief Minister, Odisha; Smt. Shubha Sarma, IAS, Principal Secretary, WCD, Odisha; Smt. Bhavna Saxena, IPS, CEO, CARA and Smt. Monisha Banerjee, IAS, Director, ICDS &amp; Social Welfare, Odisha.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Smt. Parida, Hon\u2019ble Deputy Chief Minister congratulated the department for organising a platform to deliberate, learn and reaffirm the commitment for ensuring that every child grows up in a loving, secured and nurturing family environment. The sessions explored policy safeguards under the JJ Act, international care reform efforts, and psychosocial support systems for adoptive families. State-level innovations from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra, also shared as models of scalable practice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">District Collectors and ADMs from across Odisha participated in a learning exchange to present grassroots efforts that promote adoption and reduce institutional care.
