In the National Food Security Plan, Shri SinghDeo proposed to provide financial support for the cultivation of pulses and oilseed crops on 2.5 lakh hectares of paddy land. In addition, he have submitted a demand to the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers&#8217; Welfare to increase the field performance expenditure per hectare for sunflower, groundnuts and beekeeping.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-44346 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/DCM-3-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/DCM-3-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/DCM-3.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has proposed to approve the annual program plan of 8.34 crore rupees provided by the state in the Agro Forestry program under the National Development Plan. Keeping in view the state&#8217;s vulnerability to natural disasters, it is proposed to set up a research center for deep land agriculture in coastal Odisha and an agricultural machinery development, training and testing center to bring innovation in agricultural mechanization in western Odisha.
