Manager (Civil), BCD-II, office of Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, Bhubaneswar <strong>was arrested by Odisha Vigilance and forwarded to the Court of Spl. Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar for possession of disproportionate assets worth Rs.3,38,65,970\/-<\/strong>, <strong>which he could not account for satisfactorily. <\/strong>In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance P.S. Case No.31 dt.30.09.2022 was registered against Sri Manoj Kumar Lenka, Asst. Manager (Civil) and his spouse U\/s 13(2) r\/w 13(1)(b) \/12 PC Act, 1988 as amended by PC (Amendment) Act, 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Sri Manoj Kumar Lenka, Asst. Manager (Civil), simultaneous house searches were conducted on 29.09.2022 at 9 places in Khurdha, Puri, Kendrapara and Kandhamal districts by 9 teams of Odisha Vigilance led by 2 DSPs, 10 Inspectors, 2 Sub Inspectors, 5 ASIs and other staff on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After thorough search, inventory and further enquiry, the income, expenditure and assets of Sri Manoj Kumar Lenka, Asst. Manager (Civil), BCD-II, office of Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, Bhubaneswar and his spouse were calculated and they were found in possession of disproportionate assets amounting to <strong>Rs.3,38,65,970\/-(Rupees Three Crore Thirty-eight Lakh Sixty-five Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy) which is 387% higher than their known sources of income.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Investigation of the case is in progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cuttack,30\/9\/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )- Today i.e. on 30.09.2022, Sri Manoj Kumar Lenka, Asst.
