{"id":22966,"date":"2022-06-24T14:18:26","date_gmt":"2022-06-24T14:18:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/?p=22966"},"modified":"2022-06-24T14:18:26","modified_gmt":"2022-06-24T14:18:26","slug":"head-clerk-o-o-block-education-officer-kalampur-dist-kalahandi-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-rs-13000-bribe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/2022\/06\/24\/head-clerk-o-o-block-education-officer-kalampur-dist-kalahandi-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-rs-13000-bribe\/","title":{"rendered":"HEAD CLERK, O\/O BLOCK EDUCATION OFFICER, KALAMPUR, DIST-KALAHANDI ARRESTED BY VIGILANCE WHILE ACCEPTING RS 13,000\/- BRIBE."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cuttack,24\/6\/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )- In one more Vigilance Operation<\/strong> <strong>today<\/strong>, Sri Judhistir Harijan @ Kumar, Head Clerk, office of Block Education Officer(BEO), Kalampur, Dist-Kalahandi has been <strong>apprehended <\/strong>by Odisha Vigilance <strong>for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.13,000\/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand)<\/strong> from a complainant (Retired Headmaster) in order to process and help release retirement benefits in his favour.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the above complaint, a trap was laid on 24.06.2022\u00a0 wherein the accused Sri Judhistir Harijan @ Kumar, Head Clerk was caught by the team of Odisha Vigilance inside the office premises of BEO, Kalampur while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.13,000\/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand) from the complainant. The entire bribe money was recovered from the possession of Sri Harijan @ Kumar and seized in presence of witnesses. Right hand wash as well as pant pocket wash of Sri Harijan @ Kumar gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him. Following the trap, <strong>simultaneous searches have been launched<\/strong> on the residential house of Sri Harijan @ Kumar at Mathura, Ps-Junagarh, Dist-Kalahandi and his office room at Kalampur. <strong>Sri Harijan @ Kumar, Head Clerk<\/strong> <strong>has been arrested and will be forwarded to the\u00a0Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this connection, Koraput Vigilance P.S.
