Ganjam.<\/li>\n<li>Office room at Nayabazar Jaleswar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5 teams of Odisha Vigilance led by 4 DSsP, 5 Inspectors and other staff conducted the search on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During house searches so far, the following movable and immovable assets worth over Rs.1.4 Crore as detailed below have been unearthed in the name of <strong>Sri Janardan Palei, Anti Smuggling Guard and his family members<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>12 plots including 11 plots in prime area of Jaleswar and 1 plot in Chhatrapur.<\/strong><strong> The Registered Sale Deed (RSD) value comes to about Rs.15.18 Lakh. However, the actual value is likely to be much higher. Undervaluation of the plots during registration is suspected. A thorough probe has been initiated in this regard.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Double storeyed building at Jaleswar over plot No.36(36\/480) measuring area Ac 0.056 decimal having built up area 3300 Sqft worth Rs.40 Lakh. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Chandan Hotel at Nahanajore Mauza, Jaleswar, Balasore on NH-60 over plot No.1050 measuring an area of Ac 0.05 decimal with built up area 2800 Sqft worth over Rs.13.57 Lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Vigilance Technical Wing is carrying out detailed measurement of above 2 buildings and valuation may increase further.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Postal, Bank &amp; Insurance deposits worth over Rs.55.16 Lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cash, Gold jewelry &amp; household articles worth over Rs.10.4 Lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Further searches are continuing.
