Press, Khapuria, Cuttack.<\/li>\n<li>House at native village-Bhuinpur, Ps-Aul, Dist-Kendrapara.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6 teams of Odisha Vigilance led by 5 DSsP, 9 Inspectors and other staff conducted the search on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Hon\u2019ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-854 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Vigilance-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"186\" height=\"106\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During house searches so far, the following movable and immovable assets worth over <strong>Rs.5.07 Crores<\/strong> as detailed below have been unearthed in the name of <strong>Sri Ashwini Kumar Das, BDO, Jaleswar and his family members<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>24 Plots in prime area of Cuttack &amp; Kendrapara district.<\/strong> <strong>The Registered Sale Deed (RSD) value comes to about Rs.76.4 Lakh. However, the actual value is likely to be much higher. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Undervaluation of the plots during registration is suspected.<\/span> A thorough probe has been initiated in this regard.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Triple storeyed building at Kalapada, 42 Mouza, Cuttack<\/strong> <strong>along with brick factory<\/strong> <strong>worth over Rs.1.22 Crore. Detailed valuation is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing .<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Bank &amp; Insurance deposits worth over Rs.73.91 Lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Cash<\/strong> <strong>1,70,300<\/strong>\/-.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gold jewelry weighing 1.028 Kg &amp; Silver ornaments 3.632 Kg worth over Rs.42.57 Lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>4 four wheelers (Innova, Scorpio, MG Hector &amp; Nano) worth over Rs.40 Lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>3 two wheelers &amp; household articles worth over Rs.39.81 Lakh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Sri Ashwini Kumar Das entered into service as Junior Assistant in Agriculture Department in 1995. He was promoted to the ORS in 2015 and was posted as Additional Tahasildar, Kutra (Sundargarh), Additional Tahasildar, Niali (Cuttack), Sub-Registrar, Raghunathpur (Jagatsinghpur), Sub-Registrar, Dolipur (Jajpur) and Sub-Registrar, Jatani (Khurdha). He was promoted to OAS in 2020 and was posted as Tahaslidar, Tangi, BDO, Kendrapara and BDO, Jaleswar (Balasore).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is being examined to ascertain source of the assets. Further searches are continuing.
