{"id":22830,"date":"2022-06-17T14:16:56","date_gmt":"2022-06-17T14:16:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/?p=22830"},"modified":"2022-06-17T14:16:56","modified_gmt":"2022-06-17T14:16:56","slug":"junior-assistant-o-o-block-education-officer-badasahi-dist-mayurbhanj-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-rs-15000-bribe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/2022\/06\/17\/junior-assistant-o-o-block-education-officer-badasahi-dist-mayurbhanj-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-rs-15000-bribe\/","title":{"rendered":"JUNIOR ASSISTANT, O\/O BLOCK EDUCATION OFFICER, BADASAHI, DIST-MAYURBHANJ ARRESTED BY VIGILANCE WHILE ACCEPTING RS 15,000\/- BRIBE."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuttack, 17\/6\/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )- Today i.e. on 17.06.2022, Sri Bikram Behera, Junior Assistant, office of Block Education Officer, Badasahi, Dist-Mayurbhanj has been <strong>apprehended <\/strong>by Odisha Vigilance <strong>for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.15,000\/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) <\/strong>from a complainant (Retired Head Master) for preparation of bill towards release of his arrear salary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the above complaint, a trap was laid on 17.06.2022 wherein the accused Sri Bikram Behera, Junior Assistant was caught by the team of Odisha Vigilance inside the office campus of District Education Officer, Mayurbhanj, Baripada while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.15,000\/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) from the complainant.\u00a0 The entire bribe money was recovered from the possession of Sri Behera and seized in presence of witnesses. Left hand wash as well as pant pocket wash of Sri Behera gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him. Following the trap, <strong>simultaneous <\/strong><strong>searches have been launched<\/strong> on the residential quarter of Sri Behera at LIC Colony, Baripada, his office room at Badasahi, Mayurbhanj and house at native village Chhelia(B), Ps-Badasahi, Dist-Mayurbhanj. <strong>Accused Sri Bikram Behera, Junior Assistant<\/strong> <strong>has been <\/strong><strong>arrested and is being forwarded to the\u00a0Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this connection, Balasore Vigilance P.S.
