{"id":22695,"date":"2022-06-09T16:42:54","date_gmt":"2022-06-09T16:42:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/?p=22695"},"modified":"2022-06-09T16:42:54","modified_gmt":"2022-06-09T16:42:54","slug":"block-education-officer-beo-jharbandh-block-dist-bargarh-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-rs-5000-bribe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/2022\/06\/09\/block-education-officer-beo-jharbandh-block-dist-bargarh-arrested-by-vigilance-while-accepting-rs-5000-bribe\/","title":{"rendered":"BLOCK EDUCATION OFFICER (BEO), JHARBANDH BLOCK, DIST-BARGARH ARRESTED BY VIGILANCE WHILE ACCEPTING RS 5,000\/- BRIBE."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuttack,9\/5\/2022 ( Odisha Samachar )- Today i.e. on 09.06.2022, Sri Ranjit Bhoi, Block Education Officer (BEO), Jharbandh Block, Dist-Bargarh has been <strong>apprehended <\/strong>by Odisha Vigilance <strong>for demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.5,000\/- (Rupees Five Thousand) <\/strong>\u00a0from a complainant (Head Master) for release of pending salary of teachers of his school under Jharbandh Block, Dist-Bargarh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the above complaint, a trap was laid on 09.06.2022 wherein the accused Sri Ranjit Bhoi, BEO was caught by the team of Odisha Vigilance in the residential house of complainant at Chandibhata, Ps-Jagdalpur, Dist-Bargarh \u00a0while demanding and accepting undue advantage (bribe) of Rs.5,000\/- (Rupees Five Thousand) from the complainant.\u00a0 The entire bribe money was recovered from the possession of Sri Bhoi and seized in presence of witnesses. Both hands wash as well as shirt pocket wash of Sri Bhoi gave positive chemical reaction, confirming acceptance and handling of bribe money by him. Following the trap, <strong>simultaneous <\/strong><strong>searches have been launched<\/strong> on the residential house of Sri Bhoi at Tal, Ps-Melchhamunda and office chamber at Jharbandh Block, Dist-Bargarh. <strong>Accused Sri Ranjit Bhoi, BEO<\/strong> <strong>has been <\/strong><strong>arrested and will be forwarded to the\u00a0Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S.
