During interception, suspected ill-gotten cash of <strong>Rs.2,20,000\/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Twenty Thousand)<\/strong>\u00a0was recovered from the possession of Sri Jena, which he could not account for satisfactorily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During house search, further cash <strong>Rs.4.50 Lakh<\/strong> from his residential house at Tamando, Bhubaneswar and rented residential house at Nabarangpur has been recovered. Over all total cash recovered and seized comes to <strong>Rs.6.7 Lakh.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS Case No.12 dated 09.05.2022 U\/s 13(2) r\/w 13(1)(b) of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against Sri Laxmidhar Jena, Project Director, Watershed Mission, Nabarangpur. <strong>Today i.e. on 10.05.2022, Sri Jena was arrested and forwarded to the Court.
