\nIndia will introduce new products across all existing business units, add a new
\nbusiness unit and enhance its capabilities in sustainable logistics.<\/b><\/p>\n
\nachieving a record year-on-year average growth of 20 to 30 percent from 2010 to
\n2021 in India,
\nleading global logistics service provider Rhenus Logistics announced extensive
\nplans to expand its product portfolio for the domestic market. Rhenus India will
\nalso look into introducing environmentally sustainable products and services,
\nranging from carbon-neutral LCL product to exploring the use of electric
\nvehicles for trucking. <\/p>\n
\nthe four business units (Air & Ocean, Customs Brokerage, Contract Logistics
\nand Domestic Freight) include:<\/p>\n\n
\n from Hongkong to Chennai (three consols per week)<\/li>\n
\n Freight to SAARC Nations (The South Asian Association for Regional
\n Cooperation)<\/li>\n
\n Warehouses in Gurugram (February 2022) and Bhiwandi (May 2022)<\/li>\n
\n provide a comprehensive visibility to the customers for real time decision
\n making<\/li>\n
\n Centre \u2013 to manage an entire
\n spectrum of customs services and requirements for the United Kingdom and
\n other European countries<\/li>\n
\nprovide an end-to-end visibility to customers, Rhenus India will now offer Supply
\nChain Solutions, providing technology-enabled logistics support as part of a
\ndedicated new business unit. <\/p>\n
\ntrajectory with 1.4 million square feet of warehousing space and over 500 new
\nemployees added to the local team over the past two years. Highlights include
\nthe opening of a new chemical multi-user warehouse in Chennai in 2021,
\nstrengthening its capabilities to serve the chemical industries.<\/p>\n
