K. Jethwa, IPS, Director, Vigilance, Odisha, Cuttack today inaugurated a \u201cTwo days training programme cum Workshop\u201d for the officers of Engineering Departments of State Government on \u201cAnti-Corruption Laws\u201d which is being organised at State Vigilance Academy (SVA), Bhubaneswar from 29.12.2021 to 30.12.2021. <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-19750 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/DSC6036-300x155.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"265\" height=\"137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/DSC6036-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eodishasamachar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/DSC6036.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 265px) 100vw, 265px\" \/>Thirty-Six (36) Engineers from the rank of Asst. Engineer to Superintending Engineer from different divisions of Works Department throughout the State attended the Workshop. The Director, Vigilance as Chief Guest of the Inaugural Session urged the participants of this workshop to improve their performance to achieve the goal of transparency as a part of \u201c<strong>Mo Sarkar and 5T\u201d<\/strong> policy of the Government. The Director emphasized to follow Preventive Vigilance in the domain of their working system and to prevent any wilful wrong doing of sub-ordinate staff. This training programme has been designed to sensitize the Engineers regarding Preventive Vigilance, Provisions of P.C Act, 1988 as amended by P.C\u00a0 Act, \u00a02018, Transparency in tendering projects, Procurement Process and execution of projects and Do\u2019s and Don\u2019ts and How to Prevent irregularities in spending Public Funds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among others, Shri R. Prakash, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division cum Addl.
