\nairing on France Mont Blanc 8. The documentary was produced by the China
\nIntercontinental Communication Center, the Press Office of the Jilin Provincial
\nPeople’s Government, and France Month Blanc 8 under the supervision of the
\nPress Office of the State Council of the PRC.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

From the venerable
\nChangbai Mountains to the majestic Alps, every snow-capped peak offers humans
\nthe same opportunity to challenge themselves and push themselves further. Snow
\nWonder \u2013 The Winter Adventure<\/i> invites skiers from China and France to visit
\neach other’s countries. They are searching for the coveted powder snow, which
\ncan only be found at certain latitudes \u2013 including the Changbai Mountains in
\nChina’s Jilin Province and the Alps in Savoie Department in France. The skiers
\nstay in touch on their mobile phones as they embark on a journey that displays
\nthe beautiful harmony that exists between man and nature.<\/p>\n

Together with top
\nChinese snowboarder Wang Lei, Chinese national snowboarding team coach Nino de
\nSilvestri, French snowboard Olympian Thomas Mermillod-Blondinand other
\nathletes, the audience will experience rafting through wintery landscapes,
\nclimbs up frozen waterfalls, dives under frozen lakes, and extreme descents
\ndown snow-covered mountain slopes. Through these adventures, they learn about
\ntwo beautiful mountain ranges that are located at similar latitudes on opposite
\nsides of the planet and the unique powder snow that can be found there. The
\nhosts also interact with the locals and learn about their culture and customs.
\nAmong other things, they try traditional horse-drawn sleds and dog sleds, taste
\nManchu hot pot and Savoie cheeses, and learn about traditional Chinese
\npapercutting and Savoie cheesemaking.<\/p>\n

Three years in the
\nmaking, Snow Wonder \u2013 The Winter Adventure<\/i> was not an easy project to
\ncomplete. The team had to rely on their own creativity and persistence to
\ncapture stunning sceneries in extreme locations. By creating a spectacular
\nvisual experience, they hope to display the unique winter culture, and by
\nshowing exchanges, mutual learning, and shared development between France and
\nChina, they create a vivid interpretation of the deeper meaning of the
\ncommunity of shared future for mankind.<\/p>\n

It is reported
\nthat the documentary will also be aired by China Media Group and shown on social
