\nOn December 30, Viet Nam\u00a0will take center stage in Dubai with a vast array
\nof activities to mark Viet Nam\u00a0National Day at EXPO 2020, including a
\ngrand fashion show, a country business briefing, and Vietnamese film week.

\nNam National Day at EXPO 2020 Dubai will take place on Dec 30, 2021<\/i>

The most anticipated day
\nfor Viet Nam\u00a0at
\nEXPO 2020 Dubai will be attended by a high-level governmental delegation with
\na leader from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and
\nTourism of Viet Nam.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The head of Vietnamese delegation
\nwill deliver a speech at Al Wasl Plaza emphasizing the potential development of
\nbilateral relations between Viet Nam and the UAE, as well as the commitment of
\nViet Nam to pursue the United Nations’\u00a0sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, Viet Nam will host
\na business briefing titled “Meet Viet Nam: Land of Opportunities” with the
\nparticipation of representatives from Viet Nam and the UAE’s relevant agencies,
\nas well as many Vietnamese and foreign entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event will provide
\nsocio-economic insights and information of\u00a0the Southeast Asian country, a
\nlook at relations between Viet
\nNam and the Gulf countries, and most importantly,
\ncooperation and investment opportunities in Viet Nam.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over 150 Vietnamese and
\ninternational models, beauty queens, artists, artisans, and circus performers
\nwill stage a magnificent fashion show at the iconic Al Wasl Plaza. Among the
\nshow’s\u00a0talents, three renowned Vietnamese and international fashion
\ndesigners will revive the beauty of traditional brocade with highly wearable,
\none-of-a-kind collections. Audiences will be treated to performances of traditional
\ndance and music as well as exciting circus acts by Vietnamese artists.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The celebration will conclude with
\nthe opening of the first-ever Vietnamese Film Week in the Middle Eastern
\nregion. Seven internationally awarded Vietnamese movies will be screened from December
\n30 to January 5 at the Expo’s indoor and outdoor venues, presenting a panoramic
\nview of Viet Nam as a fast developing country with a strong national identity
\nand sense of values.<\/p>\n

According to the
\nCommissioner-General of Viet Nam Nguyen Phuong Hoa, amid the COVID-19 pandemic,
\nViet Nam National Day will be a great opportunity to portray a Viet
