\n2020, its industry has been quietly breeding for more than a century of

Taiwan
\ncreated world-famous “Taiwan’s Economic Miracle!” due to the establishment of
\nthe first free zone of “Export Processing Zone (EPZ)” in the world.\u00a0 The industrial development of the Kaohsiung
\nEPZ is also a pioneer in the development of Taiwan’s electronics industry and
\nhas cultivated many talents in Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. The development
\nhistory of Kaohsiung’s industry is also inseparable from the development of
\nTaiwan’s semiconductor industry due to the success of the Taiwan’s Export
\nProcessing Zone experience.<\/p>\n

Kaohsiung
\nis the best choice for the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This year, for
\nenhancing the semiconductor A-teams of Taiwan, the government is focusing on
\nbuilding a semiconductor supply chain ecosystem, along with driving 5G, AI,
\nelectric cars and smart machinery development, planning to set up a
\n“Semiconductor Advanced Materials and Components Park” in Kaohsiung
\nto allow the industrial supply chain to “provide locally.” What’s
\nmore, this year Kaohsiung has successfully recruited international
\nsemiconductor material suppliers to enter the Southern Science Park Luchu base,
\nincluding the Merck\u00ae Group and Entegris Inc., combining the domestic
\nsemiconductor material manufacturers to build the park into the largest
\nsemiconductor process center in Taiwan, and provide full process material
\nsupports for the surrounding TSMC\u00ae, ASE\u00ae, NXP\u00ae, Winbond\u00ae, Winfoundary\u00ae and
\nother major semiconductor manufacturers. Furthermore, it will geographically
\nconnect Southern Science Park in Taiwan, Luchu, Qiaotou, Nanzi, Dashe, Renwu,
\nDaliao, Linyuan, Xiaogang industrial parks, with the goal of creating the
\n“Southern Semiconductor S Corridor”, we will create a complete
\nsemiconductor industry ecosystem for southern Taiwan.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kaohsiung
\nnot only has a solid foundation for industrial development, but also has the
\nadvantages of sufficient water and electricity supply and both sea and air
\nports. The five deficiencies including water, electricity, land, labor and
\ntalent, that enterprises are worried about for investment have been dealt with
\nin advance. Kaohsiung is the only city which has both the harbor and airport in
\nTaiwan, with stable water and electricity supply, and rich industrial human
\nresources. The surrounding MRT, railway and other public transportation
\nnetwork, park tour buses, and moreover, actively strive for new city
\ndevelopment investment deduction rate, provide taxation, rent concessions,
\nrental tax and financing interest subsidies for resident manufacturers, and
\nstrive to make Kaohsiung Taiwan’s best investment environment.<\/p>\n
