\u00a0<\/p>\n Mr.
\u00a0<\/p>\n On this
\ntoday announced the appointment of Scott Simpson<\/b> as the new President
\nfor its general insurance businesses in Hong Kong and Macau, subject to
\nregulatory approval. Mr. Simpson replaces Doug White who will return to his
\nformer role as Chubb’s Head of Major Accounts for Asia Pacific, a premium
\nservice division dedicated to offering underwriting, risk engineering and
\nclaims for the region’s large, global and multi-national clients and business
\npartners.<\/p>\n
\nnew President for Hong Kong and Macau, Mr. Simpson will have overall
\nresponsibility for the growth and financial results of the operations across
\nall lines of business i.e.\u00a0 Property
\n& Casualty, Accident & Health and Personal Lines. Prior to this new
\nappointment, he has been serving in a similar capacity as Country President for
\nSingapore since 2018. <\/p>\n
\nSimpson joined Chubb in 2005 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter in Sydney and
\nsince then, has held numerous leadership roles including Branch Manager for
\nMelbourne and Head of Northern Region, spanning New South Wales and Queensland.
\nIn his new role, Mr. Simpson will relocate from Singapore to Hong Kong and will
\nreport to Paul McNamee, Regional President for Chubb in Asia Pacific. <\/p>\n
\nchange in leadership, Mr. McNamee said, “Scott is a strong leader with a proven
\ntrack record of success. His business acumen and stewardship will help steer
\nour business to a level that matches the ambition and opportunity which Hong
\nKong and Macau afford us.”<\/p>\n
