\nsoftware company, today announced new innovations in its product portfolio as
\nwell as award recognition from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for its achievements
\nas an AWS Partner. Together, these announcements demonstrate how NetApp’s
\ninvestments and vision are enabling any organization using AWS to access
\nworld-class cloud operations (CloudOps) and maximize the value of their

\nre:Invent this week, NetApp was named the 2021 AWS Independent Software Vendor
\n(ISV) Design Partner of the Year – US, for the jointly engineered and natively
\nintegrated Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP service. This fully-managed,
\nmulti-protocol storage service from AWS allows organizations to extend
\non-premises data onto AWS for enhanced data protection, migrate enterprise
\nworkloads without refactoring, and set the stage to run stateful Kubernetes
\napplications. The award recognizes NetApp’s work in helping customers enable
\ninnovation and build solutions that drive digital and cloud transformation on
\nthe AWS Cloud.<\/p>\n

\ninfrastructure automation and optimization of Spot Wave together with Data
\nMechanics, recently acquired by NetApp, to give data infrastructure teams the
\npower and flexibility of Apache Spark on Kubernetes without the complexity of
\nmanaging and tuning infrastructure and workloads. Ocean for Apache Spark<\/a> is now available in preview for AWS
\ncustomers.<\/p>\n
\nOcean Continuous Delivery (CD)<\/b><\/p>\n
\npart of the Spot Ocean suite, Spot Ocean CD<\/a> extends Spot by NetApp’s core technologies
\nwith a solution for easy, reliable delivery of cloud-native applications on
\nKubernetes. Available for private preview with AWS customers in mid-December,
\nSpot Ocean CD makes it easy to quickly and reliably execute deployments with integrated
\nand automated continuous verification to give developers full confidence in
\ntheir deployments.<\/p>\n
\nwith Spot Ocean serverless infrastructure, these products make up the expanded
\nSpot Ocean suite, bringing intelligent automation and optimization to
\ncloud-native infrastructure and workloads on Kubernetes.<\/p>\n
\nWell-Architected Readiness Advisor<\/b><\/p>\n
\nrecently acquired by NetApp, complements the Spot product portfolio to expand
\nSpot by NetApp’s financial operations (FinOps) capabilities. Spot by NetApp
\ntoday announced the release of CloudCheckr Well-Architected Readiness Advisor,
\nwhich helps managed service providers (MSPs) streamline the process of
\ndelivering AWS Well-Architected Reviews and helps to ensure that AWS customers
\nare in compliance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework for optimization of
\ncloud cost, security, operations, performance and reliability.<\/p>\n
\nWell-Architected Readiness Advisor is available on the CloudCheckr CMx
\nplatform.<\/p>\n
\nSecurity<\/b><\/p>\n
\nSecurity enables customers to quickly detect, prioritize and help mitigate the
\nmost serious security threats and risks within cloud infrastructure. Spot Security<\/a> is now available in private preview,
\nstarting with AWS customers.<\/p>\n
