This includes matching customer donations of<br \/>\nup to SGD10,000, made between 1 and 31 December 2021, to the wishlist of Glyph<br \/>\nCommunity to help underprivileged children in Singapore. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The latest<br \/>\nlocal charity to join the <a href=\"https:\/\/amazon.sg\/shopforgood\">Amazon X Shop for Good wishlist initiative<\/a>, Glyph Community helps underprivileged children develop through<br \/>\nactivities such as field trips, arts and crafts classes, and creates<br \/>\nopportunities for them to apply learnings from the classroom. <\/p>\n<p><b>Delivering smiles with customers through the<br \/>\nholiday season<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Amazon&#8217;s<br \/>\nwishlist initiative, started locally in 2020, makes giving and doing good<br \/>\nhassle-free for customers. As customers shop on Amazon for their holiday plans<br \/>\nand celebrations, they can simply click to purchase items via the wishlist of<br \/>\nNPOs to support causes they are most passionate about. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Each NPO&#8217;s<br \/>\nwishlist is a depository of items their beneficiaries need the most in<br \/>\nreal-time and is updated regularly by the organisation. As such, through the<br \/>\nwishlist, consumers can see the exact items and quantities the NPO needs,<br \/>\npurchase them as if shopping for themselves, and have the donations delivered<br \/>\ndirectly to the NPO&#8217;s preferred location. While donating via the NPO&#8217;s<br \/>\nwishlist, customers can enjoy the same low prices and convenient shopping<br \/>\nexperience they have come to expect from Amazon. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As of today,<br \/>\n16 local NPOs are part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.sg\/b?ie=UTF8&amp;node=8191554051\">Amazon x Shop for Good wishlist<\/a><u> initiative<\/u>: Arc<br \/>\nChildren&#8217;s Centre, Beyond Social Services, Blessings in a Bag, Children&#8217;s<br \/>\nWishing Well, Club Rainbow (Singapore), Engineering Good, Fei Yue, Glyph<br \/>\nCommunity, New Hope Community Services, Singapore Red Cross, SHINE, Singapore<br \/>\nChildren&#8217;s Society, The Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf), SOSD, The<br \/>\nFood Bank Singapore, and Willing Hearts. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Between June 2020 and November 2021,<br \/>\nparticipating NPOs received over 3,640 items through the wishlist initiative \u2013 including<br \/>\nnecessities such as milk formula, oscillation fans, air purifiers, canned food \u2013<br \/>\namounting to over SGD$19,600 in value. These donations have helped more than 6,000<br \/>\nbeneficiaries across Singapore. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Customers can<br \/>\njoin Amazon in its season of giving by shopping for an NPO&#8217;s wishlist via <a href=\"https:\/\/amazon.sg\/shopforgood\">amazon.sg\/shopforgood<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_heading=h.gjdgxs\"\/>&#8220;Our wishlist initiative has grown extensively in the past two years<br \/>\nto support 16 local nonprofit organisations across causes \u2013 from helping<br \/>\nunderprivileged children, low-income families, the elderly to animals in<br \/>\nSingapore. I&#8217;m humbled to welcome Glyph Community as part of the initiative and<br \/>\nlook forward to collaborating with more local nonprofits to support<br \/>\nSingaporeans from all walks of life.
