Together with ecosystem partners including&#13;<br \/>\nCarbonless, Interseed, Avanade, EcoLabs, FINLAB by UOB, and NCS, MICSS will&#13;<br \/>\nwork with participants to develop innovative sustainability solutions for&#13;<br \/>\nbusiness that can be operationalized in line with priorities from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenplan.gov.sg\/\">Singapore&#13;<br \/>\nGreen Plan<\/a>, which was&#13;<br \/>\nannounced earlier this year. These priorities include Energy Reset, Green&#13;<br \/>\nEconomy, City in Nature, Resilient Future, and Sustainable Living. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img src=\"https:\/\/images.media-outreach.com\/Thumb\/500x0\/198283\/GreenTech-Challenge.jpg#image-198283\" width=\"500\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All early to mid-stage eco-tech startups with a&#13;<br \/>\nsoftware-based solution that addresses environmental or social challenges&#13;<br \/>\nwithin the Singapore Green Plan are welcome to apply for this challenge. Interested participants can apply here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sggreentechchallenge.com\/\">https:\/\/www.sggreentechchallenge.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the lead-up to&#13;<br \/>\nthe finals, 15 to 25 companies will be shortlisted to present their solutions&#13;<br \/>\nto a judging panel of industry experts, which will consist of ecosystem&#13;<br \/>\npartners and leaders in the sustainability space. This will allow finalists&#13;<br \/>\nto connect and engage with potential clients, receive expert advice, and gain&#13;<br \/>\nexposure to resources and opportunities, all of which will help to accelerate&#13;<br \/>\ntheir business growth. Microsoft&#13;<br \/>\nwill also work closely with these start-ups to bring their solutions to life on&#13;<br \/>\nAzure.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During the challenge, companies will be matched with&#13;<br \/>\nrenowned experts from Carbonless and Interseed, who will offer personalized&#13;<br \/>\ncoaching and mentorship to help companies develop their solutions. This includes&#13;<br \/>\ncomplimentary access to technology and support under the <a href=\"https:\/\/startups.microsoft.com\/\">Microsoft for Startups<\/a>&#13;<br \/>\nprogram, with grants of up to S$150,000 in Azure credits, as well as trusted&#13;<br \/>\ndevelopment and collaborative tools such as <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/microsoft\">GitHub<\/a>&#13;<br \/>\nand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-sg\/microsoft-teams\/group-chat-software\">Microsoft&#13;<br \/>\nTeams<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The winner will stand a chance to win S$350,000 worth of&#13;<br \/>\nbenefits and be able to tap on the rich knowledge and expertise of Microsoft&#8217;s&#13;<br \/>\nnetwork of partners to grow and scale their sustainability solutions, powered&#13;<br \/>\nby the Microsoft Cloud. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As a trusted ally to Singapore, Microsoft continues to&#13;<br \/>\nfoster robust partnerships that empower our start-ups and communities to create&#13;<br \/>\nsustainable digital innovation across the Microsoft Cloud with data and AI.
