\u00a0<\/p>\n In the lead-up to
\u00a0<\/p>\n During the challenge, companies will be matched with
\u00a0<\/p>\n The winner will stand a chance to win S$350,000 worth of
\u00a0<\/p>\n “As a trusted ally to Singapore, Microsoft continues to
\u00a0<\/p>\n Through the Singapore GreenTech Challenge, Microsoft aims to encourage collaboration
\nInnovation Center for Sustainability Solutions (MICSS) has launched its
\ninaugural Singapore GreenTech Challenge to empower digital natives and start-ups
\nwith operations in Singapore. Together with ecosystem partners including
\nCarbonless, Interseed, Avanade, EcoLabs, FINLAB by UOB, and NCS, MICSS will
\nwork with participants to develop innovative sustainability solutions for
\nbusiness that can be operationalized in line with priorities from the Singapore
\nGreen Plan<\/a>, which was
\nannounced earlier this year. These priorities include Energy Reset, Green

\nsoftware-based solution that addresses environmental or social challenges

\nthe finals, 15 to 25 companies will be shortlisted to present their solutions
\nto a judging panel of industry experts, which will consist of ecosystem
\npartners and leaders in the sustainability space. This will allow finalists
\nto connect and engage with potential clients, receive expert advice, and gain
\nexposure to resources and opportunities, all of which will help to accelerate
\ntheir business growth. Microsoft
\nwill also work closely with these start-ups to bring their solutions to life on
\nAzure.<\/p>\n
\nrenowned experts from Carbonless and Interseed, who will offer personalized
\ncoaching and mentorship to help companies develop their solutions. This includes
\ncomplimentary access to technology and support under the Microsoft for Startups<\/a>
\nprogram, with grants of up to S$150,000 in Azure credits, as well as trusted
\ndevelopment and collaborative tools such as GitHub<\/a>
\nand Microsoft
\nTeams<\/a>. <\/p>\n
