\nOutReach<\/a>\u00a0– 17 November 2021 –\u00a0Prince Holding Group<\/a> (“Prince Group<\/a>“), one of Cambodia’s largest and fastest growing
\nconglomerates, has been recognized as the Gold Winner of “Best Country Awards
\nfor Overall CSR Excellence, Best in Cambodia” at The Global CSR Awards 2021,
\nnow in its 13th year. Prince Group was selected among some of the best
\ncompanies from Asia, United Arab Emirates and Europe. <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Global CSR Awards 2021 is
\none of Asia’s most prestigious recognition awards programme for corporate
\nsocial responsibility and corporate governance. The programme recognizes and
\nhonours companies for outstanding, innovative and world-class products,
\nservices, projects and programmes implemented in the past or present. These
\nprojects demonstrate the companies’ leadership, sincerity, on-going commitment
\nin incorporating ethical values, compliance with legal requirements, and
\nrespect for individuals, communities and the environment in the way they do
\nbusiness.<\/p>\n

This year, over 350 entries
\nwere received from over 100 companies all over the world and a final selection
\nof 50 companies were recognized by the judging panel as institutions
\ndemonstrating strong corporate social responsibility programmes in the second
\nyear of the COVID-19 pandemic era. <\/p>\n

“Prince Group is deeply
\nhonoured to receive the recognition from The Global CSR Awards 2021, affirming
\nour contributions as a responsible corporate citizen in Cambodia,” said Gabriel
\nTan, Chief Communications Officer of Prince Group. “Prince Group and our units
\nwill continue to work with Prince Foundation, our philanthropic arm as well as
\nexternal stakeholders including various ministries and NGOs to make a

Mr Tan was also invited to

\nAnnual Global CSR Summit held on the same day of the awards announcement. Other
\nspeakers included some of the region’s leading thought leaders in
\nsustainability such as Ocean Recovery Alliance founder Doug Woodring and the
\nsustainability leads at Schneider Electric (South Asia), Infosys and

Cambodia has completed a
\nremarkable recovery following a surge in COVID-19 infections midway through the
\nyear. Prince Group contributed significantly through the purchase of 1 million
\nCOVID-19 vaccines, donations worth US$6 million to bolster the Cambodian
\ngovernment’s anti-pandemic efforts and the launch of the Chen Zhi<\/a> Scholarship<\/a>, a financial aid programme
\nthat promises to transform the lives of 400 underprivileged Cambodian
\nuniversity students in the coming seven years. Prince Group will contribute
\nfull tuition fees and stipends totaling US$2 million.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is the eighth
\ninternational award received by Prince Group this year, demonstrating Prince
\nGroup’s commitment towards championing sustainable development in Cambodia and
\nacross the ASEAN region. To date, Prince Group<\/a> has also been recognized
\nthis year at the 2021 International Business Awards, the eighth annual
\nAsia-Pacific Stevie Awards and the Group was also recognized as a conglomerate
\ndisplaying responsible entrepreneurship at the 2021 Asia Responsible Enterprise
\nAwards (“AREA”). Over the past five years, Prince Group has invested more than
\nUS$3 billion in\u00a0 projects in Cambodia. <\/p>\n
