Geodesic Capital and&#13;<br \/>\nRedpoint Ventures also participated in this round of financing. The new funding&#13;<br \/>\nvalues Workato at $5.7 billion and comes just nine months after its $110&#13;<br \/>\nmillion Series D. Workato has raised over $420 million in total funding to&#13;<br \/>\ndate. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The investment arrives at a time of rapid&#13;<br \/>\ngrowth for Workato and the automation market as a whole, as enterprises&#13;<br \/>\nrecognize the urgent need to increase their agility, innovation and efficiency&#13;<br \/>\nagainst a backdrop of transformation and change. Workato, already a leader in connecting and integrating applications,&#13;<br \/>\nis launching the &#8220;10,000 Connector Initiative&#8221; with the acquisition of&#13;<br \/>\nRailsData, which specializes in the connectivity of applications, databases,&#13;<br \/>\nand devices using APIs. With thousands of applications used by an enterprise,&#13;<br \/>\nconnectivity is critical to achieving automation at scale.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The round will also be used to aid Workato&#8217;s&#13;<br \/>\nfurther expansion in the U.S., EMEA and APAC.
